Business 5.0: Inside industry’s evolution

Welcome to the new edition of Business 5.0. Regular readers of our magazine will notice a change in name, which, as we head into a new year, reflects the growing global recognition of Industry 5.0.

Yet, despite often being associated with all things AI, we view Industry 5.0 as putting people first – using new technologies to drive prosperity beyond jobs and growth, without pushing the planet beyond its limits.

These themes drive the latest issue. Inside, Graham Bright of Euro Exim Bank examines how Africa can realise true value from its skills and resources, while Rupert Hodges of Oritain calls for scientific integrity at the heart of our supply chains. Bontle Senne makes the case for psychological safety as a cornerstone of digital transformation, alongside expert industry voices calling for more equitable and efficient delivery of AI. Plus, we focus on management skills in the era of remote working, lessons in strategy from the greats, and much more besides.
